My girls have been coming with me to school since their birth. It has always been important for my girls to see me working. I don't know why. I think it's just that I want them to know that when they grown up, they need to work. I want them to see themselves as strong, self-sufficient women. It's also important to me that they learn dedication to everything they choose to be a part of in life.
A few weeks ago I brought them to school with me because I needed to run copies and get a few odds and ends done. Since then, I've been finding notes around my classroom they wrote while playing. :) It brings me joy and makes my heart so warm and fuzzy when I find these little notes. I love when they play well together. :)
Little hidden nuggets in your classroom. What a find!

ReplyDeleteI love how you have inspired in them a love for writing, too. They certainly know the language of school and teaching, though I wonder where they've seen a telegram! Ha, ha! This cracked me up.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure these little notes brighten your day as you find them. Such gems, your girls!
