So sorry this is so late. I need a new computer bad! I'm posting from my phone so I hope this works! Let's get started. :)
Tonight I asked my youngest, who is a pretty spunky little lady, to write a report for me. She knows this little fellow because she sees him around school. He's a little fellow who I always pray for help with. I pray to see the face of Jesus in him. Some days I can, others are more difficult.
Anyway she says to me, "Can't you just write he's bad, doesn't follow directions, and does unexpected things?" Oh to be 5 again. Where things are just that simple. Unfortunately, even though I want my report to say that, it'll be much longer. :)
From my Brown eyes to yours......
Oh my - the toughest kids always challenge us to find the right words to describe them. Good luck with this tricky report, and hooray - you posted with your phone! :)
ReplyDeleteYou are so sweet Chris! :) I keep trying with him, but I'm not going to lie... when I don't see him... I do breathe a sigh of relief. Is that bad?
DeleteThe toughest kids can teach us the greatest things. They teach us patience, resilience, and sometimes creativeness. Good luck with that report! I spent many a year typing up reports for students who were difficult to find the "good" in.
ReplyDeleteHe is DEFINITELY teaching me as I try to teach him.
DeleteThe tough ones are the ones we take home in our hearts. I hope you were able to find just the right words for your report.
ReplyDeleteI tried so hard, but I just kept to the facts. This way my emotions were not a part of it. :)
DeleteI enjoy reading your slices.
ReplyDeleteYou are so sweet Loralee! I hope I can keep your interest through this whole challenge! :)
DeleteYou're stuck with me.
