I'm a very faithful person. I believe in the plan that God has set before me and that I am here to do His work. Most recently, I have been trying to thank him daily for the great things in my life instead of always seeking his help. But... in the midst of all I was going through, I could not find any words to pray. I didn't once ask for him to take the pain away. However, I was front seat in a beautiful show. The first angel who entered was our district nurse who just happened to be in the building. She immediately began fanning me and asking questions. She said she believed I had a kidney stone which I have NEVER had (well knowingly) had before. Then, our health aide. She called my husband (who was home sick). Then, I had her call my mom (because really.... we all need our mom's in our time of need). The secretary calmly called the paramedics and pulled the curtain to the office to protect me and my privacy in my hour of need. My friend (I'll have to slice about her later) who swiftly came across the street and told me she would take care of my youngest, had devised a plan already and went to get my wallet for me. She knows the planner I am and I like to have all my ducks in a row. I don't even know the angel that took over her class so she could come, I'm still working to track that down. The paramedics came. I immediately recognized one, another blessing. He was the brother of a good friend I went to grade school with, I was safe. My friends and colleagues who texted me their love and offerings of help. And my team. They immediately sprang into action. Telling me everything was covered. They got a sub for me, even though I was like... NOOOO I have so much to finish, so much to do. They planned on bringing us meals. And they just loved me. My mom and dad came to the hospital with me because my hubby was sick and unable to come. They helped me laugh (we said, I got the "stones" and my dad said, "Not the Rolling kind"hahaha), got me warm blankets (which in the end totaled 8), prayed for the woman across the hall who the nurses were working with. Her name was Heidi. Prayed for the little boy who was scared because he had hurt his finger. And took me to school to get my car, to get my medication and take me home. His angels and his blessings are all around us.
His plan was a beautiful one. It was a carefully laid out one with each angel playing his/her own part. I found comfort in each of them. I found comfort in my Lord who I knew would take care of me, even though I couldn't pray to Him and ask for help, he just sent it.
So right now, I was given an extended start to my spring break waiting on what I was told was my first of many kidney stones that will move out of my body. But to all of my angels...... I am truly blessed.
From my Brown eyes to yours.....
I loved hearing how many angels you saw. So many times we see many but never recognize or appreciate them as such. God sets them all in place - and yes, you are truly blessed. thank you for a great slice - get better
