We Did It!!!!

I'm so, so, so excited that I went on this journey.  I proved to myself that I could write everyday and quite frankly, I enjoyed everyday!  There was only one day where I didn't really feel like writing and one day I physically couldn't.  I've enjoyed, so much, getting to know many writers out there!  One of my newest friends is in Canada! I never dreamed of that!  Another new friend left the sweetest comments for me during this time and it helped to encourage me to write daily.

I hope to continue to follow up with all of you on your blogs and hopefully by email. :)
 Maybe when Tuesday rolls around, you may find me posting my little SOL. Anyone out there want to remind me?  I'm for real.  Like 5 or 10 reminders should do the trick. :)

As for tonight..... I'm having a sleepover with these three special little ladies.
And we're watching the NEWSIES!!!!!
I love, love, love musicals and this is one of my favorites.

A Beautiful Day

Today we spend a LOT of time in this.....

We went to the Cincinnati Zoo with friends.  It was amazing and crazy crowded since today is supposed to be the best day of our spring break. :)
We were able to see the new baby cheetahs.  I would LOVE to snuggle these little guys. Look at how cute they are!

They were delivered on March 9th via c-section.  Their momma didn't make it and one of their little brothers didn't either. :(  Good news is they have a nursery dog who's been stepping in. :)

Nothing Today

I have no words today.  I really didn't even feel like turning on the computer, but I made a challenge to myself and to all of you.  The only day I missed was when I was in the ER, so that situation was out of my control. So.... I'm posting today. And... I'll comment today.
Other than that.... I'm binge watching tv because I can this week. :)

A Real Life Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants

Have you ever seen or read the book, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants?  Spoiler alert!  It's the one where the girls share a pair of pants and they magically fit each one of them even though they are all different shapes and sizes.  WELL..... I have a real life traveling pants story except... they aren't pants.

When my mom made her first communion in 1958 (I think), her mom made her a gorgeous dress.  Luckily, my grandma saved that dress and then gave it to my mom when she had kids.  I'm not sure if I have ever told you this... maybe I have, but I have 5 sisters.  You read that right, 5! I also have one brother.  Each of us are built very differently, and each of us wore that special dress for our first communion.  It magically fit all of us.  It has NEVER been altered, it's NEVER had fabric added to it, it's just magic. 

Yesterday we went to my mom's house for an Easter brunch after mass.  Before we left, I thought.... EEK we have to try the first communion dress on Amelia because this year is her year.  She again is built so different than our oldest who is a stick and all legs. :)  I truly didn't know if the dress would fit her because she's a little curvier and more squeezable.  But sure enough, as she slid on the dress, IT FIT!!!!!!  Below is a picture of our oldest daughter on the left in 2014 and me on the right in 1984 in the same dress.

Blessed

I am blessed.

I am blessed because today I woke up.

I am blessed that my three girls woke up smiling (even after a late night).

I am blessed my husband loves us so.

I am blessed we all had beautiful clothes to wear to church today.

I am blessed that I was able to worship with my parents this morning at church.

I am blessed that the sun was shining.

I am blessed because I snapped this picture....

I am blessed because in the midst of all my chaos this week, I knew I was cared for.
I am blessed because the Lord above took care of my needs and blessed me with his angel army.
I am blessed because His angels gladly accepted the work He gave them, no questions.
I am blessed because the staff I work with are so caring, kind, and compassionate.
I am blessed because they looked after my youngest knowing that I was not there to do so myself.
I am blessed because they cared for her as they would their own.
I am blessed because they love me.
I am blessed because I am loved.
I am blessed.
I am truly blessed.

Answered Prayers

Thank you so much for your prayers. They all helped! Last night that little, and I mean little, guy came out! On his own! Phew! Surgery avoided. Now we can focus on having a nice, quiet, blessed Easter.

Stuck

This little stone just won't go away.
And if he doesn't go away, they are going to go in and take him away.
I really don't want that to happen.
I just want him to leave on his own so no other foreign objects enter my body.
So I'm drinking water.
Taking medicine to break it up.
Do you have any other ideas?
Maybe I'll ask Google.
Maybe I'll look on Pinterest, they always have ideas, right?
